Dachshunds ("badger-dogs") were prized throughout medieval Europe as badger-hunting dogs. Although today they are popular lapdogs and enjoyable pets, the Dachshund continues to be an accomplished hunter. Doxies are one of our favorite breeds here at Art Paw.
